Hello! I'm an Industrial Design graduate who has recently moved to Berlin to develop a personal company selling cute children's arts & craft kits. I'm looking for a part time job in the meantime to be able to support myself along with some graphic design free lancing. I was born and raised in Milan, Italy from Dominican and Italo/German parents. I attended an international school until the age of 16, when I moved to England where I continued my studies for the following 7 years. I am fluent in English, Italian and Spanish, I know a little French and Portuguese and am currently learning German. I have a broad experience working with children: I worked as a babysitter throughout my second year at university (caring for a six year old girl and a 4 year old boy) and I have volunteered with children since I was in high school. I used to volunteer for a program called Activity Days, where families with disabled children were invited to spend a weekend a month in their premises and we would run different activities with them. I then partnered with a charity called Epsilon and was able to spend two of my summers in two of the orphanages they support, in Myanmar and India respectively. I organised and ran different arts & crafts workshops with the children there (aged 6-12) and took care, played and laughed with the younger ones (2-6). In London, I was also able to run a few 'after-school' crafty workshops where I tested my children sewing kit design and had some fun with the kids. I have always enjoyed spending time with children, I'll never cease to be fascinated with their imagination, creativity and curiosity. I believe that my passion, experience and strong willed character would make me a trusted and fun babysitter, and I'm more than happy to meet in person to tell you more about me and discuss availability.
